454 in a half ton

I have just pulled the engine out of my 84 half ton GMC 4x4. It has recently had the body restored. I was wondering about the engine. it is a 454 but that is as much info as I have about it. above the timing cover is stamped T1028FBK, on the back drivers side is cast 14015445 with a P under it, once I pulled the flywheel off is says Hi Perf Pass. what year is it and what did it come out of. The top end has roller rockers and manley valves so someone has shown it some love.

Pull a valve cover and post the casting number off the head.

'73-'87 454 oval port, 120cc open chamber, 225cc peanut oval intake ports, 116cc exhaust ports, 2.06"/1.72" valves.
0.100" 54/35
0.200" 123/84
0.300 184/117
0.400 222/141
0.500 226/156
0.600 226/160
They'll be fine for a "go to the grocery" torque motor, but I wouldn't use them as a base for any kind of performance use.
