454 HP and Torque Estimate

If any of you have a ball park estimate on HP and TQ for this set up I would really like to hear your input. 1/4 ET time would also be cool. Here it goes....

454 Gen IV 4 bolt main (cast crank and rods) in Chevy Luv pickup with torsion bars in the front.

781 casting large oval port heads (I decided to scrap the peanuts ; the heads have 2.09 / 1.88 and no port work)

Compression is going to be a guess, but lets say it is 8.5 to 1.

Cam is a lunati voodoo flat tappet hydraulic 219/227 at .050" and .530/.542 lift

Intake is a Edelbrock Performer (i have an Air Gap RPM but I figured the Performer would work better with this set up since the cam range is 1800-5800)

Holley 750 SP

Shorty headers (limited space in engine compartment)

Currently running Dana posi with 3.73's but the rear end will eventually end up being a narrowed 9 inch, nodular case, locker, Daytona pinion support, with 4.56 gears

Turbo 350 with trans pack and 2200 stall convertor

Current tires are going to be M/T slicks - 27x12's on 15x10 centerlines. when the 9 inch replaces the Dana the tires will be 33x15 Hoosier slicks with a 4 link

Overall truck weight is approximately 2700 lbs.

Thanks

390hp/440ftlbs.

use the 3.73 gear. the 4.56 will limit trap speed to 102mph with a 5800 rpm limit and 27 inch tall tires. 125 mph would be the limit for a 3.73 gear.

I predict a 111 mph trap speed which is good for a 12.0 to 12.9 1/4 mile depending on traction.

use the rpm intake.

you need more cam and compression. 9.5:1 cr and a cam in the 230 degree range will be a good match for the 3.73 gear and a BBC. this setup should get a 116 mph trap speed and 440hp/490 ftlbs.

max effort for a street strip truck would be 10:1 cr with a cam in the 240 to 245 degree range with a 4.11 gear and 3000 stall. should trap at 119 mph at 6100 rpm which is good for a 11.0 to 11.9 1/4 mile depending on traction.

Thanks guys for the responses. The 4.56 gears will be used with 33" tall Hoosiers. The bottom end was already put together when I got the motor and is fairly fresh so I am not going to tear it down yet to increase the compression.

Eventually this will become a 496 CI, but for now I just want something to take to the track and abuse a little bit.

You think the RPM Air Gap over the straight Peformer huh?

yes, a 4.56 gear would be good with 33 inch tires.

and yes, the rpm intake is better than the performer intake is almost all cases, except maybe in a pure stock configuration.
