454 mating to a powerglide
 

I have a 2 speed powerglide trans. out of a 67 camaro. Question is; will a 454 or 396 bolt up to it? Thanks.

Yes it`ll bolt up. But unless it`s been built to handle a big block`s torque it likely won`t last long. Run a nice sized cooler on it.

Yes it will bolt right up.

PS The PG was the only automatic offered for the 66 396 chevelle & other factory BB applications,
it's plenty stout enough to handle a stock BB. If you have it rebuilt have a turbo shaft put in, A large cooler also.
