454 mk v

I just bought a 454 mk v and I am wondering if any of the older parts fit Heads, intakes etc. Am I correct in thinking that the rear seal is the big difference? How about starters and such?
thanks, Clint

Differences

Not real sure about the V but on the VI the rear seal, timing cover, and the oil pan are way different. And a certain head gasket needs to be used if I'm not mistaken if you are going to use Mark IV heads. I know there is more info on this site.

Sorry but Gen V is an animal all to itself... The older heads wont work and dont think the newer ones will either... Basicly have to stick with Gen V stuff...
