(1992 Chevy 350) Will the tbi off of a 454 work on a 350? The intake has been bored to 2" and the motor is now a 383 stroker with a BIG cam.
We will have a chip made when all the mods are done. |

454 TBI
I was on Ebay looking for a 454 TBI to change out my 350 TBI when I stumbled across a 350 TBI bored out and bigger injectors put in. the cost was a lot less and also the linkages all match up.
I decided against the TBI and went to an Multi-point injection thinking it might be the best for the 383 Im building. |

In my opinion, go with a multi-point system such as Edelbrock's Pro-Flo. When you consider that you are getting a new intake, injectors, throttle body, sensors, fuel pump, computer, chip, harness, etc.; the cost for a Pro-Flo is pretty reasonable.
But if TBI is your desire, check out www.cfm-tech.com. They have a very informative website. Also, another source for performance TBI is Howell Engine Developments, Inc. www.howell-efi.com. Best of luck, Ed www.edgesz28.com |

It can certainly be done, but a chip or ECU upgrade will eb required so that the ECU is "informed" of the larger injector size.
