46 Nash

I have purchased a 46 Nash and need a wiring diagram for it in the worst way. See there is no key for it at this time and I need to find a way to start this car with no key as well as see exactly how the electrical is supposed to be set up. I know there are ways to do this but I do not want to tear it all apart with out the proper diagrams to put it back together correctly. I want to stay original as much as possible on this restoration. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Doc here,

FOR TESTING (only) :

Find the ballast resistor off the coil...(+side of coil, rectangle metal or ceramic box)

AT or near the coil...Connect a 12 gauge wire to an on/off Toggle switch, then to the battery. This is your Ignition.

ON THE STARTER: (Test ONLY!!! UNSAFE condition!!!!)

Locate the "S" Wire off the starter solenoid..

install a 12 gauge wire from here to a Push button momentary switch, then to the coil side of your toggle switch..This is your Start switch..

Turn the Ignition switch ON..then hit the PB, it will / Should Start..

BE ADVISED!!!!!!

you have NO NSS or Clutch over ride switch (S) in line..It will / Can jump and bite you or someone else!!! to safely do this you SHOULD have full "ON " E~Brake, Shifter LOCKED in neutral, and the rear wheels OFF the floor slightly..There are no "Do over's " for DEAD...
