460 Ford Pops!out exhaust on idle.
Hi;
This 460 is in an 87 Motor HOme,when at idle will give occasional loud pop or {backfire}out the exhaust,Has headers and 2 intwo one muffler,Gibson set-up.Doesn't do this all the time just occasionally,not quite sure where to start looking??Not sure maybe should have been in electrical section?Thanks!!

Either it has an excessively rich condition or you have one or more bad exhuast valves. It could also be a cam timing error, but only if a cam was recently installed incorrectly.
