47-48 chevy truck gas tank

Does anybody know where I can get one of these tanks?

Try Chevy Duty or Brothers or American Classic Truck Parts. All of them should have what you're looking for.

Those places have gas tanks, but not specifically for the 47-48 which is what I want. It may be confusing considering my moniker.

Did yours have the tank below the bed? I believe Americanclassic used to carry those but think they were discontinued. You might also want to try Golden State Pickup Parts who also sell some used parts if they don't have access to a replacement.

These have been some good places to check, but they are selling "in the cab" tanks. The tank I have could (might??) be fixable, but I thought I would check on a new one first.
