Does anyone know what rearend might fit under my 47 without any modifications ?? Thanks

Your '47 should use a rearend 58" wide measured outside to outside . '65-'67 novas have this width and so do '80 and up intermidiate GM cars such a Regals ,Monte Carlos, etc. Not sure about the spring mounts lining up on the nova rears though , the '80 up rears use coil springs. Not too major of a job to cut off brackets ,bolt in rearend using new spring mounts and once the pinion angle is set with the car at ride hight and weight on suspention, weld the new spring pads to the rear end housing.
