47 dodge coupe build advice needed
OK in a nut shell. got a '47 dodge coupe. from what I have read the front suspension is pretty good as long as you relocate the shock mounts. can it handle the weight? the frame looks very beefy and mines good and solid. I'm looking for info on putting in a 383/727 combo. It looks like i'll be cuttin the firewall. I would also like to hear what you guy's have done for steering upgrades.

Use the stock Dodge basics. Change shock mounts, install a disc brake setup. Change steering to Cavalier rack and pinion. I also have dropped spindles. Most of this stuff is available from Fatman Fabrications.
My 48 B/Coupe has a Chebby in it, 400 turbo trans, 8 3/4" rear. |
