Anglia Sedan Doors

Bill,
If nothing turns up on your side of the pond, try here in the UK, the prices will be higher though, as well as the postage.

Bill,
Bout the best I can do for you is to try www.car-part.com there may be a wrecker that has some of those doors..Next best is to stretch the ones you have..I know you can do it..just a pile of work..

Thanks J.K, I sent off for a search on the small parts link you posted,, Pop browns didn't have anything,, I might just have to resort to finding them in the uk,, I;m sure they would be rather spendy,, Oh well !!!! thats hotroddin for ya!!!!
Sam!! car parts didn't even list anglia parts,, they stopped at Acura,, don't think those would match up very good,,LOL
Have you heard from John about the metal meet date?? I probably should contact him.. its getting close to the time frame he mentioned,, looking forward to that,, hope to see you there, Take care Bill

I sent off an e-mail to the webmaster@car-part.com to see if they could implement a search feature for the odd old car parts we may need..

As far as the meet is concerned I do not have a clue at this time..Maybe the ole guys gotta get after it and get it done..just need to set dates as far as I am concerned..

Not to change the subject, but did you guys see what they did to that poor little Anglia on Monster Garage?

Bastards. :spank:

Brian

I been thinking about that alot Brian,, my thoughts about them destroying that car run a little deeper than what you called them, that was a prime specimen, what were they thinkin?? but Jessy is da man he thinks, :nono:

Bill,

If your search doesn't turn up any is there a car you could obtain the pattern from and build them?

I have no idea on something like that, other then get them built. I did a quick search and this is all I came up with,
Seems like they might make fiberglass doors (don't know about sedan), but know idea where to find steel. angliaobsolete.com

I checked with Dean [owner of anglia obselete] and he said that he use to import doors and other body parts,, but the shipping was so expensive that he discontinued it,, I might just have to either forget the idea of changing them or suck it up and find some in the uk,, the swap meets are coming up soon, real big one here in Oregon in april, always see a couple of anglias for sale there,
Adv, Design,, actually the doors on a sedan and thames panel are the same shape,, except the sedan is 10" wider, so I could move the strike jam back that amount . split the door ,and fill in the gaps, piece a cake,,, Huuuummmm where do I start,???? probably be better off leaving them alone,,, Bill

Try p.m.ing 2-manytoyz, he's got some different cars and a lot of connections. Dan

Bill, I think the most realistic is to cut off the skin, lengthen the door shell and make a new skin to fit the lengthened shell.
