I have a 48 Anglia,, thames panel,, and I want to replace the doors with SEDAN doors which are 10" longer,, anyone out there know where some might be located?? or have some laying around ,,I have tried all the suppliers that I could find,, and no luck,, any help would be greatly apprecated,, Bill

Bout the best I can do for you is to try www.car-part.com there may be a wrecker that has some of those doors..Next best is to stretch the ones you have..I know you can do it..just a pile of work..

Thanks J.K, I sent off for a search on the small parts link you posted,, Pop browns didn't have anything,, I might just have to resort to finding them in the uk,, I;m sure they would be rather spendy,, Oh well !!!! thats hotroddin for ya!!!!

I sent off an e-mail to the webmaster@car-part.com to see if they could implement a search feature for the odd old car parts we may need..

As far as the meet is concerned I do not have a clue at this time..Maybe the ole guys gotta get after it and get it done..just need to set dates as far as I am concerned..

I have no idea on something like that, other then get them built. I did a quick search and this is all I came up with,
Seems like they might make fiberglass doors (don't know about sedan), but know idea where to find steel. angliaobsolete.com

I checked with Dean [owner of anglia obselete] and he said that he use to import doors and other body parts,, but the shipping was so expensive that he discontinued it,, I might just have to either forget the idea of changing them or suck it up and find some in the uk,, the swap meets are coming up soon, real big one here in Oregon in april, always see a couple of anglias for sale there,
Adv, Design,, actually the doors on a sedan and thames panel are the same shape,, except the sedan is 10" wider, so I could move the strike jam back that amount . split the door ,and fill in the gaps, piece a cake,,, Huuuummmm where do I start,???? probably be better off leaving them alone,,, Bill

Bill, I think the most realistic is to cut off the skin, lengthen the door shell and make a new skin to fit the lengthened shell.
