'48 chevy pickup grill into a '54..will it work?
I bought a '54 chevy 3100 with plans on putting a '48-'53 grill on it. Has anyone done this? The front sheetmetal looks the same to me, but I need to know if I can swap the grills or will I need a all new front end.

Check out this site (the best for AD Chevy truck discussion) (click here) but I believe the inner fenders are different. I know the fenders are, they have an indentation for the grille ends and park lamps. Now, the grille may install and you only have to fill recesses but they are different.
