49,50 olds taillights

Has anyone used '49 or '50 Olds taillights on a '39 or '40 Ford? There is a bezel above these lights. I'm not sure if they would look okay or not. Thanks in advance, Rod

If the lights will fit the contour of the top of the Ford fenders and face the rear as required they could be a working deal there. EVen you have to make a bit of a trough for them to sit in.
I'm sure these have been used before, probably in the early-mid-50s on asome full custom 39 DeLuxe or 40 Ford.

The bezels would definitely have to be modified. The long tail of the bezel will not fit the contour of the 39-40 Ford fender.
Another alterative would be to make an aluminum bezel for the lens only if you want to use just the lenses.
