49-54 ford truck rear tube
Hi:
does anybody know what the od of the tube is on the axle 49-54 ford 1/2 ton truck?..I am guessing 2 3/4" ? I am stuck at work drawing up rear axel batwings in auto cad and forgot to measure the tube Thanks Tom in Pittsburgh

Welcome to the forum.I have 5 of them a the shop.This is for 53-56,they are 2 1/2".

Thanks a lot ...man this is the greatest...you saved me from calling my wife and getting her to crawl under and meausure the tube.....you know how women are about that kind of stuff..ha ha she probably would have said 2inches + two of those big scratches with a few little ones in between...ha ..ha...
