49 Chevy dropped steering arms.
I'm gonna lower my 49 Chevy using dropped spindles on the front but have been told 2 different ways of doing it. On one hand Fatman says I need to use dropped steering arms with the dropped spindles to avoid bumpsteer. On the other hand the guys at the Filling Station say I don't need dropped steering arms(only required for 39 to 48 Chev's)but I do need to replace the fixed long tierod with an adjustable one. Anyone got any advice?I'm in Australia so ordering parts I don't need costs a bucketload but not ordering something I do need is worse.
Thanks Buzz |

Find a Nova or Camaro front clip and change the whole front end. Then no special parts needed.Easy to do and works great.
