Two piece windshield installation

Part of the problem was the glass was not cut properly was to wide and eye the center where the windshield comes together was cut on an angle would not fit before you install a two piece windshield be sure you check this out first if you have the old glass it's simple

Jim
You have a V- butt windshield. This is made to eliminate the original rubber and the center post. It is made to be glued in most generally with S-10 trim. That is the reason it is too big and the edges are on a bevel. This will not fit in the original rubber. This is more for street rod applications to eliminate the center bar. There is no way you will be able to put this in an original style truck. New glass is required. But you can resell these to a street rodder.

49 chevy

My dad and I recently completed a 50 chevy 3100. He sold it 2 months after we dropped the 355 in it. The guy made an offer he couldn't refuse. Miss that truck! But, I may be able to offer some advice here and there on a restoration for yours.
