49 Chevy..Rubber Trunk Mat

I have been looking for a Black Rubber Trunk Mat for a long, long time... for my 1949 Chevy.
Anyone have any ideas about where I may find one.. please help me.
I have been on eBay for months looking for one, also on Google, etc..trying to find stores that say they specialize on trunk mats..for chevy's.

Thank you for any assistance,
Eddieb

Eddie Here you go

Try the National Chevy Association on St Paul Minnesota. They specialize in 1949-1954 Chevy parts & interior stuff.
Website at www.nationalchevyassociation.com

Good Luck with your 49.

Eddie,
In the event National Chev does not have it (unlikely), try Hemmings. I have seen black rubber trunk mats specifically for these cars in a couple of places. Sometimes I just grab the Hemmings book and call various 49-54 Chevy places and often I will find what I am after. Last week I found the best price on tail lights at a place called auto city claasics. They specialize in 58 - 62 Chevs, but just happen to have the right parts for my 49. Heck, they were even just up the road about 50 miles. Also, have you tried Steele Rubber and Chevs of the 40's?

Thank you

Yes.. I have been calling and leaving e-mails, messages, etc with lots of the names that you gave me.
Also with... Chevs of 40's, J.C.Whitney, etc, etc,.. so far, NO ONE has the Black Rubber Mats for the trunk. Ugh..

I have ordered several catologues.. maybe I will still get lucky!

Thank you very much for all of your assistance,
Eddieb

National Chevy...

Just got my e-mail response from National Chevy Association.. They informed me that they no longer make/carry the Rubber Mats for the trunks of Chevy's .

If anyone has any ideas??? Please let me know.
