49 ford custom rear end locked up

Okay, while moving the 49' without a drive shaft and yolk the carrier bushing popped out and kinked the ring and pinion setup. I jacked up the car trying to rotate the tires and hope I could pop it back in but that did not work. I then figured I would remove the carrier but I cannot get it off either. It comes out about 1/2" but no more past that. My father mentioned that some rear ends would require you to remove the axels to get the carrier off. I don't know if this is one of those or not.

We are not sure what to do next.

Help? Ideas? anything?

Thank you!

You have to take the axles out to remove the center section. You need to pull the axles and remove the center section "carrier" and see if you done any damage. Hopefully you can just bolt a yoke on and reinstall it but it's worth taking a look at.
