engine swap

The only thing you need to do is get the proper engine and frame mounts for the Flathead V-8. I dont remember about whether there is a difference in the bellhousings and flywheels. The best thing to do is to find a web site specializing in Flathead V-8 parts or buildups and contact them. I havent worked on a flathead since the mid 60's, so Ive forgotten a lot of stuff about them.

The holes in the frame should be there so you only need to do is find the mounts for the V8,you will need the V8 radiator too. The sixes had the radiator mounted in front of the core support and only two outlets unlike the V8 that has four. Jeff

Check with Flathead Jack for the stuff you need. You will need a radiator, four hoses, motor mounts and brackets, and I am not sure what else. www.flatheadjack.com
