'49 Merc passenger door...

Hi,
I'm building a '49 Merc chopped, old school custom. I desperately need a passenger door from a 2 door coupe.
Anyone have one, or recommend a good place to find one?

This is just a guess and I'm sure an elder member of the board would know for sure but... Would a ford door fit? Don't know if Ford had taken over Merc and combined the lines yet.

Call Mr Merc @ (701)349-4123. They claim to have 400,000 used and NOS parts

pzatchok, To answer your question, no, a ford door will not fit. The bodyline does not exist in the ford shoebox as in the Mercury.
