a friend has asked me to assist him in installing his 49 shortbox chevy truck body on a chevy S-10 rolling chassis. anybody know if this is a feasable swap and if so what years S10 and what length do we need. thanks in advance. Bob

I have NEVER done this one ... but it is a fairly popular swap.
Measure the wheelbase on the 49 and then find a S-10 with the same or real close wheelbase.

I actually prefer to upgrade the original frame over frame swapping.
