Why not use the HP calculator link at the top of this forum on the main page?

Just for bench racing fun

I think the heads may be the choke on that many cubic inches.

Here's my GUESStimate; Hp=545-585 somewhere between 5500-6000rpm. Torque= 565-600 somewhere between 3000-4500.

Something gives me a feeling the dyno results are gonna surprise us. Oh, if I win, I want a new hat to wear while I change the oil in my old ones.

with 2.19/1.88 valves and a good porting job,the engine could make 550 hp,with out flow numbers its just a wild guess.
headers are too small, I use 1 7/8 stepped 2 inch on my sbc

505hp/568ftlb
how high you going to rpm this.. I'm assuming that the crank is cast as you said steel not forged..
450ftlb+ from 3400 up
that extra arm and 2 bolts, you did use arp studs

why you think the headers are to small..
it's a long arm 2 bolt block.. (guessing ) cast crank..and hyd cam.. it's not rpm'n to the moon.. I'm not sure I'd go over 5500 many times.. if indeed it's a cast steel crank.. and 2 bolt block with bolts not studs..
that's a long arm to swing with 2 bolt mains.. and rpm

It is a 4340 steel crank. Not over 6000 rpm. and studs.

It made 583hp, 626 lbs. Now I need to get it to hook! Hoping caltracs with the overloads removed will do the trick.
