hello i just put in a transmission i took from a 97 tahoe and put it in 96 suburban .the problem im have is that it will go in reverse find but when putting it in drive you have to idle the engine hi then it goes but then when come to a stop you have to do it again its a 4l60e transmission

low on fluid,
bad trans If reverse works fine , then there should be enough pressure to operate forward gears. Plus there may be a solenoid difference in the 3-2 circuit. Different ohm rating
