4l60e
I had my 4l60e trans rebuilt, i finally installed it and to break it in I drove it home. this morning i drive to work and it would not speed up past 40 mph, i didn't force it to avoid any damage. I pulled over and put in park, engine revs good. start driving again and it still will not speed past 40mph. does any one have thoughts on this matter please help.

Trans.
Was the trans in the car originally or is it a retro fit? Sounds like it isn't shifting properly. What is the vehicle it is in? Can you get a scan tool on it to see if it is shifting?
