4l60e 94 gmc sierra
Got a tranny that works fine in drive or overdrive but if i manuall shift to 1st or 2nd it slips like crazy. But if in drive it cycles thru the gears fine. Any suggestions would be appreciated

that is interesting. Mileage on the transmission? Any recent repair work or fluid service? when in manual 1 gear , there is actually another clutch pack applied. The low roller clutch would still be holding

mileage not sure
the truck is new to me last yr has 170000 miles on the truck. I did get a transmission service done to it but the tranny was doing it before. I was just kinda hoping it would help. It is weird it will light the tires if in drive or overdrive but just revs up and moves slowly if i drop it down to 1 or 2
Thanks |
