4l60e locked up reverse.

If I put the reverse sprag in backward would it lock it up in low and reverse. 2,3and drive all will allow the vehicle to move. It lock up in reverse and low. With the engine off you can push the truck forward but not backwards. I think I put the sprag in backwards.

Check valvebody bolts. There are 3 about 8mm longer, and have 8mm socket heads. If you get one in the center a VB, you maybe have hit the sun shell and locked it down. They go toward the rear of VB.

That was it

Thank you again. I pulled the pan and sure enough that bolt with the 8mm head was right in the middle. When I put it together I put them in finger tight to make sure they did not bottom out. I never felt it hit the shell. I torqued them and it locked the shell up. I moved it with the one that was a tiny bit shorter and a 10mm head.
