rip it back apart. im not a trans guru, but i have to call on one for advise periodically. he has told me many times that 1st and reverse are 100 percent hydraulic, you could unhook all the electronics and it should still go in 1st and reverse. and if i remember right...2nd gear is electronic failsafe on a 4l60e. so if it was a electrical failure and not mechanical it should still move, just failsafe to 2nd
