4L60e MLPS question
what is the box that is around the shifting arm? and how do you adjust? and does it have something to do with the throttle position sensor? I was told to move it until it starts in neutral which I did now it seems to run worse kind of dies out around 1500 rpm. Thanks

I think you are talking about the Manual Lever Position Sensor at the linkage arm on the trans. That provides information to the PCM as to which gear is selected by the shifter. It should not cause a problem at 1500 RPM
