4l60e probs

i have a 94 firebird that is pushing quite a bit of power more then likely close to 450 at the flywheel and the trans has a shift kit and just recently when i run it out it hits second and its like neutral till i let off and then its fine again... it used to spin the tires quite a bit when it hit second? the trans only have 55k on it so what has happened or what do i need to fix?

you need to fix the problem with 2nd gear .

there are a few cuases for lost 2nd gear.

A broken band, broken band strut , burned up band , stripped teeth on the drive shell.

EDIT: I forgot , a damaged 1-2 accumilator will leak pressure

well do you have any idea what is most likely the problem or could it be any of those things. i guess more of what im asking is which one usually goes out first.
