4L60E teardown oops

Installing a 2002 Blazer 4L60E into an old jeep. Bought an advance adapters kit and tried to install using the manual. The kit requires replacing the output shaft (which fit perfect) but when I installed the input shaft and drum it didn't seem to bottom out. Here comes the oops, I used the pump to try and push it in (not my most brilliant move) now I can't get the input shaft back out. Any ideas?

Cool

I would try pulling on the input shaft

Perhaps turn the tranny on to it's bell housing to see if pulling will help the input fall out.

Sounds like you have jammed the works up purty good.

Thanks for all the help. It just required a firm hand and it was a clutch disc jammed that kept it from coming apart. You guys are the best.
