Post 4L80E

Hello,
From which G.M. car will the 4L80E O.D. Trans work behind a 1970-76 Buick 455 ?
And are they considered to be short or long shaft units ?

I don't understand what your question is. Are you asking what vehicle it came in? If thats what you are asking it was only used behind GM big block and diesel trucks in the mid 90's till 2002 then they switched it to the Allison 5 speed. If you are asking will it fit behind a Buick 455, the bolt pattern is different but they do make adapters to bolt it up to BOP engines.I don't know if it is considered long shaft or short shaft.
