4l80E dipstick
I have a 91 454 Pace Arrow w/4l80e on P-30 GM chassis. It's got a 5ft more or less trans dipstick that comes out under the cowl. The tube is a 2 piece that has a connection in the middle. I would like to replace it with one that comes out at the back of motor like turbo 350 etc. so I can check fluid level under the dog house. I really don't see that such a long twisted dipstick can be very accurate. Anyone have any ideas what GM application I could use to replace it? Thanks,Gerald

Truck application should work, try a 91-96 K2500, K3500 w/454-Eng.
