Top Gear do the best reviews...

For the cost of the Veyron, I'd rather have me some old tin to hot up...

I kind of tensed up there a bit. That car is just insane.

It's probably a good thing that 99.999975% of the people on the planet will never have one.

I don't care how fast it is, it's butt ugly IMO. I could have a bunch of 07 ZO6 Vette's for what that thing cost.

I'm not sure ... but the driver says that those tires will only last about 15 minutes at that speed, but that's OK because the fuel will only last for 12.

16 cylinders, 4 turbochargers, and 10 radiators ... and only 1000 HP?

Heck fellas ... they ought to let a bunch of us hotrodders see what we can do.

Ah what the heck ... I guess John Force's funny car doesn't have a CD player.

Here's a very cool YouTube video of the engine being built. It's worth watching.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q34xI...eature=related

And here's a video of the block for it being machined in a 5 axis CNC machine.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GU32Q6QXtWQ

I bet the engine alone cost as much or more than my house did.

I am not even a Chevy guy and I agree. What does it go, like 12 minutes at WOT on a tank of gas? Insane, cool but insane.
