4x2-2-4x4
Hey, thanks Hotrodders for all your help. I recently moved to north central AR from Florida. I like fishing, golf, and building plastic model airplanes. We discovered while we were in Georgia last winter that it snows a little heavy in AR. This is what has given me the idea of turning a 2x4 S-10 Blazer into a 4x4. I will appreciate hearing from you on this project.

Sounds expensive, might reconsider that one. I am not saying it cannot be done, a fair amount of the drive train will need modification. No need to list the parts cause it is standard stuff, I would be looking for a donor for sure.

Welcome to the board. That is quite a tall order for an s10. Easiest way to get there would be buy a 4x4 either as a replacement or as a donor. You noticed how you can see all 4 seasons within a day where you are at?

i would sugest go to the junkyard and find a good body s10 with a mest up motor that already has the 4x4 set up and put your motor in it that way you wont spend to much money just really the price of the truck maybe like $500 to $600 at the most and it will be alot less work
