4x4, diffrent tires sizes.
I am correct to assume on a 4x4 you HAVE to have the same size tire in all four corners?

Only if you plan on using 4WD.
 Just like if you re-gear you need to have the same ratio front and rear.

Yep, plus it looks silly with different sized tires on a 4x4.
If you never put it in 4WD you would have no problem.

Well its just i was planning on racing the truck a bit, i have stuff here at my house to get it above 300hp, just curious what it would run, beside, would be good pratice. Right now i have 265/7516 on it. I can fit a 295/75/16 on the same rim, BUT up front they ALMOST rub when turning, they are to tall. I could prolly get a 315 or so in if it was shorter. But the 295 at Lt tires, they have about 10 inches of tread. On a lower profile street tires i could go with about 12 inches or so. I dunno, what would you all do.

i'd throw that muther in 4 hi and spin all 4 wheels. thats wtf i'd do.
does this truck have a warranty? i drove the truck to work today..... and it does spin the tires..... not that i was street racin' or nothin'  damn i love open headers.

 Awesome driving your truck wasnt it? So what would you do, how do you even spin in 4x4? isnt it bad on the drivetrain?

Why do you need different sized tires to race on? You said they rub when you turn, but everybody knows "real racers drive straight to the finish line, those other guys drive in circles looking for it."
As long as you're just running an AT, your local track shouldn't have a problem with you doing a little TnT (test and tune.) My brother wanted to run his Dodge once, but its got 33x12.5 MTs and they said the MT tread would tear up the track.

lol...thinking of running a bigger one on back, smaller up front.....or running my 265's up front with a 295 or so out back
