Unhappy 5.0 89 LX Intake Plintum Cleaning

All the grey crap paint that comes on the 5.0 stock intake plintum. I wanna how to get it off and make it look new and maybe even shiny. Lemme know any products that will strip the paint off and get the metal back to looking new. Thx. I wanna try to stay away from paint stripper but if I have to go that route then I will.

There is a product called "Citristrip" that is a orange extract product that is supposed to be good and will not harm the aluminum, check the instructions to be sure. The only other alternative that I know of is bead blasting.

you could have it sent to a machine shop and have it acid dipped or ultrasonic cleaned to get it all off and even the insides of it
