What is your question? Do you want to know how it's done? Pointers? Tips on making it easier? When you do a thread and you only say:
5.0 v8 engine swap in a 1975 courier
Then we don't know what you mean because it can mean anything. It can mean you already did it. It could mean you want to do it. It could mean you want advice from somebody who may have already did so. Simple fact is, if you don't ask us a question then we have no way of knowing. Were hot rodders, not mind readers.

If you want a 5.0 to go into the Courier. I recommend not.. The 5.0 is too long and requires firewall surgery. This also interferes with the master cyl/heater/dash and interior room.

A better swap was narrow V-6 or a Buick V-6. Did a couple twenty + years ago.
