5.3 ls motor swap in a 72 chevy c10

Has anybody did this swap with the stock pcm,& stock. Wire harness?

If the PCM, wire harness, engine and transmission are all from one donor vehicle they will work together.
You will need to add an electric fuel pump to obtain adequate pressure for the FI.
Also, a return fuel line will be required.
Get a shop manual for the donor vehicle at www.alldatadiy.com.
One note; The 5.3L (1999) had some issues with cracked heads, leaking intake manifold and piston slap. I would do some research on the engine you intend to use.
