5.3l in a 75 el camino

Here nobody realy do this set-up. I have my car, and my 5.3l from a 2005 sierra 2wd whit the transmission. I want to see how it fit in the car because i'm trying but the engin is to high and i had to move closer the fire wall but the oil pan and the headers do not fit?

You may need to do some reading to get your mind wrapped around the project. A small block should practically fall into place in a '75 El Camino. Get this book and read some of the finer points of engine swapping. After all, you don't know what you don't know.

There are several different sizes and shapes of LS oil pans, the link provided by the nitro man will get you headed in the right direction with the pan.

Thanks! I'm working on the car another time and now it's better. Somebody tel me to use the spacer on a v6 1500 pick-up and that start me in a wrong way. Now the engin are in the right place. I just have to find a new oil pan.
