5 gal of pig crap = 5 gal of gas

An ex NASCAR consultant and fuels specialist says he has stumbled on a formula for turn pig manure into gasoline. I'm normally quite skeptical about such claims but this guy appears to have a decent resume.

If this is true and ever comes to light, I hope they bring back full service gas stations. Sounds like a stinky situation, lol. Okay maybe the fuel produced form it won't be that way, but I imagine working in the processing plant would be considered a crappy job.

Pig manure has always been a great source of methane gas that has been used to heat buildings. This obviously is a new development that makes gasoline or at least can be added to gasoline. Any one know any more about this?

You might be thinking of methane production from livestock manure. This is actual gasoline production...with virtually the same molecular composition as what comes out at the pump. At least that's what the article says.

"This guy can take a gallon of piss, **** and water and turn it into a gallon of gasoline."

Lol, that quote struck me as funny. But that'd be quite a breakthrough if what he's claiming is really true. We definately have plenty of "resources" to make this gasoline. I'm just dreading the smell of it being burned off..
