50 Buick re-imagined

Ever since Jerry Titus' 49 Buick fastback git the scenes in the late-70's, I have the idea of something similar, but a hard top with a wrap around windshield, rolling around in my head.
After thirty-some years of thinking about it, I finally got around to doing something with the idea
I started out with Sam Barris' chopped 50 Buick, and laid the top down to follow the flow of the '53 Buick chrome
The cut down windshield, the tops of the doors, and the front half of the roof are from a '57 Buick Century which were also re-worked to follow the flow of the chrome, and the doors were lengthened a couple inches to fit with the '57 cowl.
The cruiser skirts started out as part of the rear quarters of a '54 Mercury.
The rear bumper ends and tail lights are from a '77 Chrysler Imperial, and I'd probably finish it with the center of a '55 Pontiac rear bumper.

I like the look. Can you bring the front down a few inches? this would be a nice build.

I thought it came out well, especially with the tapered '57 belt line.
The cruiser skirts were an after-thought and might need to be made just a hair taller in front, but I thought they worked very well here

The tail dragger stance was in vogue in the early-50s, but the front end could come down about 2" without getting in trouble with the men in blue

The hardest part would be finding a windshield the right width.
It might be possible to cut the Century windshield in half and install it in two pieces. Otherwise, I'm thinking that a late-50s Corvette piece or the back window from a '57 Chevy 4-door HT (not strictly legal, but it's been done) might be close enough to work with

I'll take that to mean I did a god job with it
Just finished the front view tonight.
It's not perfect, but considering the amount of tinkering I did to get the look I wanted, I think it looks pretty good
