50 Chevy PU question???

I have a complete 50 Chevy PU cab that's in pretty decent shape. I would like to buy a complete running swb Chevy PU and place the cab on it. I want to try and use as much of the donor truck as possible. Does anybody know what year(s) would work the best? Opinions? Looking for comments from people that have done this? Thanks in advance!

Any S10 will fit a 1950 chevy cab, wheelbases change, you'll need to fab fender brackets, rad supports ect... but it'll fit

Didn't even think of an S-10, I was just thinking full size for some reason. An S-10 being much narrower would allow me to get it a lot lower with less turning issues than a full size. Will definately keep an S-10 in mind, thanks.

Oh yeah, lots of after-market suspension stuff for S-10's too. Once again, great suggestion. I'm gonna start researching it now.
