Fleas/one post wonder

With this kind of reception, who'd want to come back?

I tend to agree with you....Not everyone is an "expert"....This place is here so people can learn

That said, I am not so hot on chops either, on these trucks anyways

On some trucks a chop looks fine if you dont get carried away with it. I've got a 50 chev 5 window that if I ever get to it I'am going to try something different. I'am going to chop just the roof above the windows just to flatten it a little then section the body to take the big door look out of it.

I love a chop top.... When it's done right...

The 50 will look good if you do this with it..
A fender-ed 50 look's really funny if you go to much on the chop.... These truck's are a little on the fat side... To much just off the top,, Then it start's looking like something fell on top of it...

Now if you section and channel it with the chop,,, Then your on to something...

new interiors, that truck is coming along sweet!
if i could fit in one i'd be doing that same era truck.

no problem with chops, channels, sections, customs or stock
it just seems like there's been a lot of 1 post wonders lately.
like this thread starter, registered in feb, post in feb, no intro, no posts in any other thread.
usually a 6 word, one line thread, asking a lot of technical info.

''need wire diagram 49 buick''
''s10 frame on xxxxx''
''how do i chop a xxxxx''
''fix ac''
''need disk brake conversion''
''need 1000 hp on a budget''

i usually ignore 1 post wonders, but if i answer it's usually with sarcasm

I want to do one now also..... Looking at this thing everyday now really makes me want one.... I tried talking my son out of this one.... THAT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN !!!!

I don't know how big of a man you are.... But I'm 6' 248 lbs right now.... I can stretch out my legs and just touch the firewall.... And the roof can still come down 3'' with no problem.... If I do one it will be the same year as this one.... I don't fit to well and a 30's model..

as the runt of the litter i come in at 6'5'' and 220
i'm the shortest (and heaviest) male in my family of 7 guys that range from me to 6'8''
i've heard every short joke ever told...

biggest problem is that i am a gimp, legs don't work to well
even in my 58 cab, i raised the seats 2'' above stock to give a little more leg room.
