240-245 @ .050. KB hypers or forged with the small bump and block zero decked to get 9.5-1. decent reworked 781's on the bowl and short turn with 2.190's and 1.88's. Performer RPM air gap or Victor Jr. or equiv. with 2" spacer and a 800 to 1050 carb. Reworked HEI or other capable of good spark to 6200RPM with advance at 36-38 degrees on good pump gas. Decent headers with 2" primaries and 3-3 1/2 collectors. Make sure your block is honed with a torque plate and the guide work on the heads is good as well as good springs that will take you to 6-6200 RPM. 3/8 .080 wall push rods probably .100 long and some good comp 1.7 roller rockers. Factory rods will work if you have sombody decent resize them with some decent bolts. If you pay attention to detail, this thing will be close to bullet proof, even with a 100HP nitrous plate on top.
