Post 502 RAM JET CHEVY CRATE ENGINE

Has anyone out there put the 502 Ram Jet factory fuel injected crate motor in a "G" body El Camino I have a 1978 Camino with the 350 Ram Jet now and am getting the 502 next month. It looks to me the stock hood will even close. Any help I could get to save headaches would be most appreciated.

Thanks in advance, Del Ammons

Your going to have to upgrade the chassis for the extra weight. I'm not sure what year they stopped the big block. Seems it should fit,its the same body style.
