50's ford Axle

Hi there a local seller in my area has a 1950's ford truck I beam axle complete for sale with brakes and steering linkage. Will this setup work on my 1926 model T with a model A frame? Im just curious because he only wants 100 dollars for the setup?

Works is a subjective term

It could be made to work but the width is considerably more than what most folks use. Also, 50's Ford truck beam axles use a dual parallel spring suspension, and the T used a single transverse pack of springs. IF it is a 53 to 56 F-100 set up, the brakes, hubs/drums and backing plates are well worth the asking price to most traditional rodders.
