51 chevy 1/2 ton restoration
 

Hi

My name is Vic Leger and I live near Moncton New Brunswick Eastern Canada.
I have just retired and presently doing an off frame restoration of my 51 chevy 1/2 ton pick up. My background is cabinetmaking so I'm hoping that my past experience with tools and problem solving will help in the restoration. So far I have completely sandblasted my frame, primed and painted it, installed a Mustang II front hub to hub and am presently rebuilding the rear springs,shackles etc. I am will be installing a 91 astro 4.3 V6 motor and 700R4 Trans. The rear end from a 71 Olds Cutlass 2.53 gears is almost ready to Install.
