51 Ford -53 Merc frame
I am doing a resto rod of a 53 Merc. Anyone know if a 51 ford frame is similar or the same? I have one with all the bells and whistles. It would make my job easy if I could start on the other frame. Ideas?

Thay are very similar, but I don't know that they are exactly the same. Ford didn't make a major change until '57.

Hey man. I know there were some suspension changes. Are you talking about the actual frame rails themselves? If so, that is the information we are after.
