52 1 Ton Chevy Truck / Camaro graft

A question the other day came up about whether or not you can put a camaro front end on a 1 ton truck. Mind you the truck will never be used for hauling that kind of weight it is just to drive around with. I have even replaced the back with a flatbed and I was planning on putting a camaro rear in the truck too.
The question of weight of the frame rails is what drove this issue. On another board one person said that the huge size of the rails will make the camaro front end cave in. I am not completely sure that is the case as long as you use heavier springs(coils) in the front it should compensate for the weight.

Thoughts?

Camaro graft

I have grafted many Camaro front frames to Chevy pickups. Have never done a one ton but can not imagine there being too much weight for the Camaro front frame rail or suspension. Just be sure your welds are good and gusset any weak looking areas. Be careful you don't get the front end too low, looks silly and will not handle well.
